"VE day fancy dress party in Sutton Dwellings Plough Way 1945. My cousin Albert is the little black minstrel at the front to the right of the girl dressed as the Queen. In the back row dressed as Charlie Chaplin is my aunt Lily. She is behind and to the right of the girl with the nurses costume."
