Dedic Velde, assorted photos and clippings

Dedic Velde was a stage actor and Chaplin imitator known for his vaudeville act, "Charlie Chaplin's Comic Capers in the Park". He often performed under the title 'Dedic Velde & Company', with one or two other performers. (Velde can be recognized amongst Chaplin imitators for his long face, and prominent cleft chin.)

Photos and newpaper captures found online.

The following scans are from my personal collection, including Velde's autograph on a large photo. Sadly, the autograph has been cut off. Velde is dressed as a Keystone Cop. The woman is recognizable as one of the dancers in the company, wearing the same dress as in the promotional photo.
The small theater program features Velde on the cover. Measures 2.5 x 5 inches.

Unknown performer with dog, early 1900's

New addition to collection: Unknown performers, Cuba, 1950's

Back of photo reads 'Jak y Lisa', Cuba 1950's. There are hole-punches on the left of this original 8x10.
I'd love to know more about this stage act and the performers.
He looks familiar, possibly more to follow!..
